Performance Metals commercial water heaters feature the patented “Corrosion Alert” Monitoring System, which warns when the internal anode is depleted and gives a warning that corrosion is now likely to start. This reduces a catastrophic failure situation, saving maintenance costs and increases the life of the asset, reducing landfill dumping.	Traditional Approaches
	● "Run Till Fail" most common situation. ● This will eventually result in an unpredictable water leak and an emergency situation - complete replacement of the water heater and probably water damage. ● Preventive Maintenance - scheduled inspection of the anode. This can add to maintenance labor and cost. Depending on the interval, damage can still occur after anode depletion.
	The Solution Condition Based Maintenance via the Intelligent Anode
	A modified anode features an embedded sensing probe.
